Chief Dr. Oluwole Oludaisi Aina, fondly known as the Asiwaju of Iresiland, is a distinguished leader and philanthropist. His life and career have been marked by a profound commitment to education, community development, and Christian leadership. Born 70 years ago in Iresi, Boluwaduro Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria, Chief Aina legacy spans across multiple sectors: education, business, agriculture and religious outreaches. His life's journey epitomizes a steadfast dedication to uplifting others and contributing to community and national development.
Chief Aina began his educational journey at Baptist Day School and proceeded to earn his Teachers Grade II Certificate at the Niger Baptist College, now known as Ahmadu Bahago Teacher College, in Minna, Niger State, in 1975. His early career in education laid a solid foundation for his lifelong passion for learning and knowledge dissemination. After teaching for several years, he sought further education at the Kwara State College of Technology, School of Basic Studies, where he obtained his Cambridge Advanced Level Certificate.
Fuelled by a desire for higher education, Chief Aina obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at the prestigious University of Ibadan, graduating in 1981. Further motivated by a thirst for continuous personal and professional development, he embarked on a Master’s degree in Christian Leadership, which he completed in 2007. He then proceeded with a PhD program in the same field and successfully completed it in 2012. His advanced studies in Christian leadership testify to his commitment to integrating faith with leadership, a principle that has guided much of his professional and personal life. Dr Aina is also a Fellow of the African Business School (FABS) and Member African College of Fellows.

Azeez Olakunle, Adewoyin, a teacher, a banker, and an administrator was born on 11th December, 1961. He joined the service of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree as a lecturer. While in the service of Kulende Community Bank, Ilorin, he participated in management training programmes of the Institute and other professional examinations training classes as a facilitator. He attended University of Ado-Ekiti (UNAD) between 1996-1999 for his MBA where he served as the Chairman, MBA Students’ Management Committee. Kunle Adewoyin first text book- “Mortgage Bank in Nigeria” was launched at the Kwara State Library Complex on the day he wrote his MBA final paper and the launch was successful and remarkable. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) in Banking and Finance (First Class) from Achievers University Owo, Ondo State, and M.Sc. Banking and Finance from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. He successfully completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in 2007, and his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Banking and Finance at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State in 2016. While in the employment of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Adewoyin served as Part-Time Students Coordinator, Head of Department, Assistant Director, Continuing Education Programme, Director of Study Centres, Dean of Faculty, Chairman Committee of Deans, Tetfund Scholars Alumni Coordinator, Director of Examinations, Member, Academic Board, and Congregation Representative in Council, amongst others. He served as chairman and member of different ad-hoc committees for the Institution and Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic Staff (ASUP), Iree Chapter.

John Adejumo is the current Bursar of the Polytechnic, Iresi. He is a Professional Student with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and became a Certified Member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) in 2019. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Second Class Upper Division) from Ekiti State University in 2014. Additionally, he is a graduate member of the Nigeria Institute of Management Chartered (2016) and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in Accounting (2019). He has authored a publication titled Evaluation of the Performance of the Foreign Exchange Market in Nigeria and another unpublished work, Democracy and Political Violence in Nigeria, among others.
John has actively contributed to various committees within the Polytechnic and beyond, including religious and secular organizations. He has held numerous leadership roles in both private and public sectors. These include serving as the Head of Administration and Assistant Accountant at the Osun Baptist Conference of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and as the Head of Program Planning at the Centre for Women and Youth Organization.His leadership extends to community and religious circles. Notably, he has served as Chairman of the New City Community in Agunbelewo, Osogbo, where his performance was commendable. He was the Pioneer President of the Progressive Development Movement (PDM) and the Pioneer President of the Youth Wing of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN), Osun State.

Lékan Ọdébùnmi is the incumbent Head of Library, The Polytechnic, Iresi (in acting capacity). He is a Certified Librarian in Nigeria(CLN) and a paid-up member of Librarians' professional body - Nigeria Library Association (NLA), Osun State Chapter. For the award of Bachelors of Library and Information Studies (B.LIS), he studied Library, Archival and Information Studies at the prestigious premier university, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, where he graduated with First Class Honours in 2017. For the award of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), he had earlier attended the Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun, where he studied Economics and Political Science between 2006 and 2009.
As a librarian, he has held leadership positions and served in various committees in different capacities either as a chairman or as a member.
He is a Certified teacher, registered with the Teachers' Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). He is the author of Compendium of Facts; Introduction to the Use of Library: with Lexicon of Library and Information Studies; Rain of Disgrace; So Dangerous; and, Reading is Fun. He has several others which are yet to be published. He has attended several workshops, conferences, seminars and trainings that are relevant to his career. He has composed anthems for schools and departments to his credit.
